We are a Peterborough based Architectural, Interior and Graphic Design company built upon a combined 35 years of experience in the Design Industry.

Before setting up i-lid design with collegue, Lorraine Mitchell, business partner Ian Ashworth spent over 15 years specialising in Design and Project Management in the Restaurant and Leisure Industry. With a past Client base including La Tasca / Bay Restaurant Group, The Restaurant Group PLC, Pizza Express PLC, Luminar Leisure PLC & My Kinda Town Ltd, as well as individual restaurateurs. I have assisted Clients to open successful units under brand names such as La Tasca, Garfunkels, Caffe Uno, Yo Sushi, PizzaExpress, Chicago Rock Café, Henry J Beans & Chicago Pizza Pie Factory, both in the UK and internationally.

Our small dedicated team are now able to offer a full Interior Design and Management Service to the residential aswell as the commercial sector, from concept to hand over.

Part of this service to our commercial clients includes Logo Design, Signage Design and full colour visuals to enable us to creatively fuse the image of the brand together.

We are employed by various individual clients as well as corporate operations working alongside them to develop their brief, both aesthetically and operationally. We successfully utilise the spatial and operational requirements for sites to suit both operator and customer needs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.

We have extensive knowledge in dealing with Planners, Listed Building Officers and Building Control. In addition we are experienced not only in the design of High Street Bars and Restaurants but also within the restricted environment of shopping malls.
